Chris and Courtney actually met at the gym in 2012, and they spent four years building a beautiful friendship before their love story “officially” began. They eventually realized that they were perfect for one another - and after that, there was no going back. Their love grew sweet and steady, and on a quiet night on the back porch, looking at the stars, Chris asked Courtney to be his forever.
Mint Springs Farm was the perfect summer backdrop for this sweet couple to begin their forever. Their wedding day was full to the brim with joy, and their ceremony was a special tribute to their faith and their love for one another. We loved watching this couple’s family and friends celebrate them - it’s clear that these two are so loved by the people surrounding them. It was a beautiful day, and we’re so glad we got to play a part in it!
Looking back on their wedding, Courtney says her favorite moment was her first look with Chris. She loved her dress, and she couldn’t wait for her new husband to share that moment with her, especially after spending the morning getting ready with her bridal party and anticipating the happy moments ahead! The couple also loved tearing up the dance floor with their family and friends. We love to watch kids dance at a wedding, and this was no exception! Thanks for choosing us to capture your special day, Courtney and Chris. We loved working with y’all, and we wish you all the best in the years to come!
Kelly and Brandon actually met during a job interview process - a mutual friend suggested that they “meet” over the phone, and after an hour-long phone call, they knew an instant connection was happening. In the midst of dating bliss, Brandon took Kelly on a trip to Chicago - one of their favorite cities! As they strolled down North Avenue Beach, he dropped to one knee and asked her to join his world forever. She said yes. Brandon even had a photographer ready to snap some engagement photos in a few of their favorite Chicago spots!
This happy couple wanted their wedding to feel special, but not stuffy - more like a fancy dinner party with friends than a stiff, formal event. The Cordelle was the perfect spot for a fun, family-friendly day. Their day was light-hearted and filled with depth at the same time, and the room was filled with love from their families and close friends as they joined their lives together.
Looking back on their wedding day, Kelly says she’ll never forget Brandon’s face when she walked down the aisle - her favorite moment of the whole day. We also loved the unique ways the couple involved Brandon’s son Rylan in their big day, and having him included in their vows was a sweet family moment. We loved working with Kelly and Brandon, and we wish their new little family all the best for a lifetime to come.
Lauren and Chase through mutual friends at church, but it wasn’t until six months later that their paths crossed again. Chase had a work meeting in Lauren’s office, and when she got to her desk that day, she found a sticky note asking her out for coffee! It was love at first sip - the couple fell hard and never looked back. Nine months later, Lauren and her best friends were on a girls’ trip to Lake Como, Italy, when she spotted a man who looked just like Chase. As they got closer, her heart started pounding - it was Chase, and when he dropped down on one knee, she couldn’t say yes fast enough.
The happy couple dreamed of an elegant, classic wedding - something that resembled the old Louisiana plantations of Lauren’s hometown. The Estate at Cherokee Dock was the perfect spot to say, “I do,” complete with a gorgeous garden that tied in beautifully with their florals and greenery.
Lauren and Chase’s wedding was everything they’d dreamed of: elegant, fun, and full of love. Looking out at the grinning faces of friends and family as they were announced for the first time as husband and wife was a moment they’ll cherish forever! As they think about their wedding day now, they’re grateful for the little moments tucked into the busyness - getting ready with their wedding party and meaningful moments with their parents.
We loved working with Lauren and Chase. Lauren was kind enough to say she loved working with us, too! In her words, “I wasn't stressed one bit about the videography. I appreciated Matt’s phone call a few days before to talk through everything. His excitement was contagious, and we had a great experience!” We’re wishing Lauren and Chase many, many years of happiness together, and we’re so glad we got to be a part of your wedding day.
Raeanna and Nic had a long, winding journey to love. They first met in 2012 at LifeChurch. In 2017, Nic proposed on the sidewalk right outside the church doors. All those years later, their love story came full circle - their little girl, Rayleigh, even held the ring for Nic as he proposed!
Raeanna and Nic wanted their wedding to feel southern and classic, with a French flair. They opted for a simple outdoor ceremony at Gunn Farm, complete with stunning florals and sunny skies. The ceremony was filled with special moments, with the couple’s faith at the center and their friends and family surrounding them. The reception was nothing short of a blast - cold beer, delicious donuts, and great tunes had the whole room dancing the night away!
Looking back on their wedding day, Raeanna and Nic remember the little moments that made them laugh - and most importantly, that their little girl could be involved in every aspect of their wedding. That day will always hold precious memories for their little family of three.
We actually met Raeanna years ago, when she was a bridesmaid in another wedding we shot - so we were honored to capture her wedding day. Working with this couple was easy and fun, and we’re wishing them all the best in their marriage for years to come!
Katherine and Carter met in high school, and knew right away that they wanted to spend their lives side by side. They dated through high school, college, and grad school! On a trip home to Charleston, where Carter is from, he surprised Katherine with a romantic walk down the waterfront park. As she took in the rolling waves and the beautiful sights, he turned around and got down on one knee. She’d always known that when this moment came, she would say yes to Carter - and that’s exactly what she did!
Their Nashville wedding on June 9th was beautifully understated, full of gorgeous neutrals and classic details. Their day was filled with joy from start to finish. Even before the wedding, their bridesmaids and groomsmen were a blast, laughing and celebrating what was ahead. Looking back on their day, their favorite moments were on the dance floor, knowing that they could dance the night away with all of their favorite people before heading off to a brand new life together.
Katherine and Carter are a great couple, and we’re honored to have been able to shoot their wedding day. They loved having a videographer who captured the moments without standing out too much in the crowd, and we loved getting to capture every little moment for them to look back on forever.
