Stephanie and Steven have a rare kind of love - the kind that they both knew would last from the moment they met. From their first day together at a music convention, they were inseparable, and their love only great deeper over time. Steven proposed at the gorgeous Blue Lagoon in Iceland, and the couple set about planning the best day of their lives.
Above all else, Steven and Stephanie wanted to make their wedding their own, filled with unique details that would leave every guest feeling as though they knew the couple better than when they arrived. They chose not to have a wedding party, but instead, focused on making each guest feel like a special part of their day. CJ’s off the Square was the perfect location for a small but stunning wedding, and the ceremony was filled with those they loved. Stephanie’s brother officiated the wedding, and they selected nieces and nephews - and their puppy, of course - as flower girls and ring bearers.
Steven and Stephanie wanted their wedding day to feel light, airy, and rustic - but most of all, unique. They brought in many elements of their music careers, like crafting vintage hatch show print invitations and writing their own wedding songs. Looking back, the couple’s favorite moment from their special day was the first look. When they saw each other in that quiet moment, all the stress melted away and, in their words, “everything felt right in the world - it was perfect.” The entire day was filled with love and genuine happiness, and we’re so glad we got to play a part in the best day of Stephanie and Stephen’s lives.
